Built for video calls and screen recordings
- Float on Top. The prompter stays above every app, including a full-screen video call.
- Move Below Camera. One click docks the script as a strip at the top of the screen, right under the webcam, so your eyes stay near the lens.
- Hide from Screen Sharing. On by default. Keeps the prompter out of screen sharing, recordings, and screenshots in apps that respect it.
- Voice Follow. The script scrolls as you speak and waits when you pause, so you never chase a fixed speed.
- Built-in video recorder. Record yourself with the Mac camera while you read, at up to 1080p.
- Keyboard control. Start, speed up, slow down, jump back to the top, and resize text without touching the mouse.
Free to start, Voice Follow included.
One subscription unlocks Pro on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Keep your notes off the shared screen
Hide from Screen Sharing is on as soon as you open the prompter. People on the call see your camera and whatever you share, not your script. Turn it off from the toolbar when you want to take a screenshot of the prompter itself.
Some apps that capture your entire screen may still show it, so do a quick test share or test recording before an important call. Sharing a single window or app is the safest choice.
Voice Follow on Mac
Voice Follow listens through your Mac microphone and moves the script at your pace. Pause to think or answer a question, and the text waits. Recognition runs on your Mac using Apple’s speech models, in the languages Apple supports. The first time you use a language, macOS downloads the model once.
One subscription for iPhone, iPad, and Mac
GoTeleprompter is free for up to 2 scripts, and Voice Follow is included in the free version. Pro unlocks unlimited scripts, and one subscription covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac on the same Apple ID: subscribe once on any device and Pro works everywhere.
Scripts sync between your devices through your own iCloud account. There is no GoTeleprompter account to create.

FAQ
- Can people on my video call see the teleprompter?
- Not when Hide from Screen Sharing is on (it is by default) and the app you share with respects it. Some apps that capture your entire screen may still show it, so do a quick test share before going live. Sharing a single window is the safest option.
- Does the prompter stay on top of a full-screen Zoom, Meet, or Teams call?
- Yes. With Float on Top turned on, the prompter stays above other apps, including a video call in full screen. Move Below Camera docks it right under your webcam.
- Which macOS version do I need?
- macOS 26 or later. On older Macs, Windows, or Chromebook, use the free web teleprompter in your browser. It has picture-in-picture but no Voice Follow and no hiding from screen sharing.
- Does Voice Follow send my voice anywhere?
- No. Recognition runs on your Mac with Apple’s on-device speech models. The model for a language downloads once the first time you use it.
- Is GoTeleprompter free?
- Yes, to start. The apps are free for up to 2 scripts, including Voice Follow, with no watermark. Pro unlocks unlimited scripts, and one subscription covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The web teleprompter and browser tools are completely free.
