Does Voice Follow work through a glass teleprompter rig?

Yes. Voice Follow listens through the iPad microphone and does not depend on the screen orientation. Keep the iPad close enough to hear you clearly, or the scroll may wait.

Which iPadOS version do I need?

The app runs on iPadOS 17 and later. Voice Follow needs iPadOS 26 or later.

Is the iPad app the same as the iPhone app?

Yes. It is the same app, and one Pro subscription covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Scripts sync through iCloud.

Teleprompter App for iPad with Voice Follow

A bigger screen you can read from further away

Larger text at a comfortable distance means less visible eye movement on camera. Use the free font size calculator to match text size to how far you sit from the screen.

GOTELEPROMPTER APP

Free to start, Voice Follow included.

One subscription unlocks Pro on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Mirror mode for glass teleprompter rigs

Flip the script horizontally and vertically so it reads correctly in a beam-splitter glass. A larger screen keeps the reflected text legible from further back.

Read and record, or just prompt

Record on the iPad with the script over the camera view.
Or use it purely as a prompter in front of a separate camera.
Picture-in-picture floats the script over other apps, like a video call or camera app.
Voice Follow moves the script at the pace you speak and waits when you pause.

One subscription for iPhone, iPad, and Mac

GoTeleprompter is free for up to 2 scripts, and Voice Follow is included in the free version. Pro unlocks unlimited scripts, and one subscription covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac on the same Apple ID: subscribe once on any device and Pro works everywhere.

Scripts sync between your devices through your own iCloud account. There is no GoTeleprompter account to create.

Requirements
